Our Dedicated Teaching Staff
All of our instructors at JOINUS KOREA are carefully screened native Korean volunteers or part-time teachers who are passionate about sharing the language and culture.
Qualifications vary, but most have one or more of the following:
•
University degree (often in Korean language education, linguistics, or related fields)
•
Formal certification in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language (한국어교원자격증 2급 or 3급, etc.)
•
Extensive experience teaching Korean to foreigners (from beginners to advanced)
•
TOPIK Level 6 (highest proficiency)
•
Experience living/studying abroad, so they understand learners’ perspectives and can explain in English (or other languages when needed)
